Citeos, the VINCI Energies brand specialising in infrastructure energy performance, low-carbon mobility, and preserving and enhancing urban spaces, has taken on a design-build project to illuminate the Pont Jacques-Gabriel in Blois (Loir et Cher).
Corentin Duloy from Citeos explains, “Because the project has high environmental ambitions, especially in terms of biodiversity conservation, we teamed up with ecologists to help us adapt our solutions, for example during birds’ nesting periods. This consideration of ecological issues was decisive in the official selection process”. He adds that the project also made it possible to cut energy consumption by half.
