Co-living is a new way of living in the city. The co-living space, primarily geared to single people, provides the tenant with a private room and common spaces such as bathroom and living room-kitchen, and shared amenities such as a spa, fitness room, café-grocery store and room cleaning service. These co-living spaces, a combination of apartment share, hotel, and student dormitory, are rapidly spreading in the United States and are now being introduced in France. They are fully in keeping with the societal shift from ownership to access. Co-living is a way for young professionals to find housing in the city.
