Open data and the green transition: welcome to Switzerland!

The Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) in early April 2021 published the technical and geographical data of around 112,000 power plants spread throughout Switzerland. This open-access database provides a transparent way of monitoring the development of the Swiss energy transition. Updated approximately once a month, the data can be downloaded in raw format or viewed directly on various interactive maps produced by the SFOE.
