What impact will the Covid-19 crisis have had on the city of 2030? Together with around 20 experts from various fields, Leonard, the VINCI Group’s innovation and foresight platform, has identified four separate and wide-ranging urban scenarios: “Where cooperation supports local economic recovery”, “Where people migrate from cities against a background of economic stagnation”, “Where local and regional upheaval leads to an upsurge in citizen activity”, and “Where cities see rapid expansion”.

Between individualistic mentalities, urban exodus, widening inequalities, regional divides and social tensions on the one hand and new forms of cooperation, shorter supply chains, growing local economies and citizen involvement on the other, our cities have 10 years to draw up a blueprint for how they want to look.
